Dr. Tim WebbI have ten years post doctoral experience investigating the structure-function relationship of proteins of biomedical interest. From 2004 - 2009 I worked at the Queensland Brain Institute at the University of Queensland in Australia researching Ligand Gated Ion Channels, and prior to that at the Brain Science Institute RIKEN in Japan for two years researching CAMs. I have considerable experience of the applications of molecular biology and protein chemistry to investigating how compounds of pharmacological interest modulate ion channels. I also have recent experience in the screening of novel compounds involved in ion channel modulation. I obtained a PhD from the University of Salford studying Protein Chemistry, an MSc in the Computer Modelling of Protein Stucture from the University of London, and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology from the University of Portsmouth. I have published my research in eight peer reviewed international journals.
